#LIUSYOURSELF

#liusyourself is an Instagram series I started to get through the world’s lockdown in the summer of 2020. I needed to do something. A video-a-day just seemed like a fun challenge to take on, while also connecting to friends and collaborators I’ve worked with in the past.

#liusyourself pt. 1 (2020), I was able to collaborate with 22 good friends and colleagues and accomplished my 30 videos in 30 days.

#liusyourself pt. 2 (2021) was inspired by Women’s History Month, featuring the incredible writing and music of some of my absolute favorite women. Since my own mother loves poetry, I alternated between poetry and poetry set to sound (ie: music)!
